Recently, India launched anti-dumping investigations to China cold rolling and hot rolled stainless steel products. and even levied anti-dumping duties, it will increase China's stainless steel products export pressure, influencing on the export of stainless steel.
India commerce ministry had made a statement that will make final anti-dumping on the imported 304 series hot rolled stainless steel, suggesting to levy anti-dumping duties on 304 series of hot rolled stainless steel come from China, South Korea and Malaysia
A Shanghai analysts said that this statement will increase China's stainless steel products export pressure, in 2015 China's steel export situation which is not optimistic, export of stainless steel products will also be suppressed.
In addition to hot rolled stainless steel products, the same to cold rolled stainless steels. In early the end of 2014, Indonesia's anti-dumping committee made announcement that according to the domestic industry application, decided to levy anti-dumping investigation for cold-rolled stainless steel from China, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

China is one of the biggest stainless steel producer and stainless steel output production gets half of the world's for many years. With the rapid development of the stainless steel industry, the export of Chinese stainless steel also sustained and rapid growth.

According to the data of China special steel enterprises association shows that in 2014 China's stainless steel production increased 14.27%, coming to 21.692 million tons which means almost half of global’s. All over 2014, China's export of stainless steel is 385 tons and increase of 1.197 million tons, a 45.12% increasing.
